Why we're different

We're small, and that's the point
There's no account manager between you and the people writing the code. The person who answers your email is the person who shipped your last release.
We publish the price before the work
Every studio can quote low. We quote it, put it on the website, and then build to that number. It's a much better filter for us than for you.
We don't take a retainer to stay useful
You own the source, the store accounts and the backend on day one. If we'd done a good enough job you wouldn't need us to keep the lights on, and we'd rather you didn't.
We say no more than we say yes
Sometimes an app is the wrong answer and a website or a spreadsheet does the job. We'll tell you that before you spend anything, not after.

Where we actually stand
We're new.Here's the honest bit.
TalonForge started recently. The first product, PDF Master, is built and running but hasn't been submitted to a store yet. We don't have a wall of client logos, because there isn't one.
What we do have is the thing that usually goes wrong: we've built a real app end to end, with the tests and the store packaging and the migration paths, and it works. That's a longer list than most studios can point to on day one, and it's the reason we think we can hit the dates we quote.
We'd rather tell you that now than in month three. If you've been burned by a shop that overpromised, that's the thing to weigh us on.
If that still sounds risky, hire us for the smallest thing we do. It's the cheapest way to find out.
